Situation
The XCHG workspace at 22 Bishopsgate came to us with a familiar problem.Their paid ads were technically working, costs were covered, brand awareness was ticking along, but from a performance point of view the campaigns were doing little more than breaking even. Fine for visibility, painful for growth.
Task
Our brief was clear:Transform a self-funding campaign into a predictable, profit-generating engine without increasing ad spend.
Action
Before touching PPC, we challenged the assumption that ads were the issue.
We audited the full journey, from first click to conversion, and the bottleneck was obvious. The destination didn’t reflect the premium reality of the product. Prospects landed on a bare form, low-quality visuals, and zero opportunity to explore the space or build confidence.
So we rebuilt the foundation first. We led a full content and experience refresh, including new photography and video, a redesigned website, clearer contact pathways, refreshed SEO, and rewritten copy aligned with the calibre of the brand and the building itself.
Only once the experience matched the promise did we re-activate performance activity.

Result
The impact was immediate and measurable. With the same ad spend, lead submissions increased sixteen-fold. Conversion quality improved, and within six months the campaign delivered a ten times return on investment.
Paid social later went on to outperform every other channel, but that’s a story for another case study.
Takeaway
More budget rarely fixes a broken funnel.
Premium brands don’t win on clicks alone, they win on desire, confidence, and experience. Once the content and journey were elevated, performance followed naturally.
Struggling with a brand or campaign that’s “working” but not really delivering? We can help you fix the foundations and unlock growth.
